I worked with Jon for 12 years in the IT Dept, and always found him to be smart, witty, and insightful.  We had many thoughtful conversations about baseball, music, movies. He was kind to my son, about 10 years ago, gifting him with a "Ichiro" bobble head from his epic collection of baseball memorabilia, still prominently displayed in his room.  Rest in Peace, my friend.

Jon and I often passed almost everywhere on campus and we would fill each other in on how the Yanks were doing.  He was a very helpful member of our College community providing various IT functions. I am saddened to hear of his passing.

I had the opportunity of attending a Red Sox Yankees game on June 27th with Jon.  Only the second time I had seen him since we graduated from PHS in June, 1973.  I made the journey from Framingham to Hyannis to pick up Jon.  We were talking  so much at his home that we missed the chance of going for breakfast.  Then a car ride to & from the game, we were able to catch up most of our lives since 1973.  I hung out at Jon’s home for a couple more hours after getting back to Hyannis.  It had been sweltering hot & humid at the game.  Unfortunately for Jon, the Yankees lost, 9-2.  Jon was a caring person-he offered me use of his shower & a change of clothes due to my sweaty attire.  I’m glad I was able to visit with him & talk about 48 years of life, past our days at PHS.  It’s just too bad that Jon was not able to experience the Yankees rebound from a disastrous season.  At least they were heading in a winning direction when Jon left this earth.

Jon had a wonderful wry sense of humor with a quick wit always to make me smile or laugh. He was also deep thinker. We shared many a conversation over the years that led to a long and special friendship at work. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

Jon helped me countless times with all sorts of issues--patiently and with a terrific, wry sense of humor. I loved running into him and chatting--he was a person who really made CCCC feel like a community to me. I hope all his family and friends know how much he gave to us and that we dearly appreciated him. I will miss him!

Sincere condolences to Jon's family and close friends.  He and I were co-workers in the IT department at 4C's for nearly 13 years.  When our paths crossed, which was often, we might talk about anything from our respective memories of UMass and the Connecticut Valley to, of course, the Yankees and their rivalries.  Jon will be greatly missed.  -- Doug MacKenzie

Jon was a good friend, and we spent much time together over our many years at CCCC.  He had a great sense of humor and we could share a laugh or a smile with each other with just one look.  He is, and will be missed.

Cool, calm, collected. Thank you, Jon, for always being there to help those of us who were less IT savvy.  

Jon will be sorely missed; he was always ready with a cheerful greeting wherever and whenever our paths crossed on campus.  His sardonic statements kept it real, and -- except for that unfortunate affinity for the Yankees -- was a lovely man, and this Red Sox fan tried to overlook his one weakness.
