Margaret Ann (Caggiano) Whyte, 89, of West Barnstable, MA, passed away on April 8, 2026. Peggy was a devoted, loyal and hard-working woman whose life was defined by steadfast love, quiet strength, and enduring commitment to those she held dear.
Born and raised in Stoughton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Marciano and Antonetta (Venuti) Caggiano. Peggy and John lived in southeastern Massachusetts and moved to West Barnstable in 1977. They were to celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary on April 23rd.
Before her retirement, Peggy was the executive secretary of 20 years to the director of the Cape Cod Conservatory, a role she carried out with diligence, discretion, and dedication.
Peggy was devoted to her career and to taking care of her husband John. She enjoyed drawing fashion illustrations and had a deep appreciation for flowers, especially the fresh cut flowers thoughtfully given to her by John, which brought her genuine joy.
She had a special and lasting bond with her nieces and nephews, who always thought of her as sweet, and with whom she shared many cherished memories.
