Marie Boy

Marie Boy, 85, passed away after a brief illness on April 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Maplewood at Mayflower Place. Marie was the devoted wife of Richard Boy for 68 years. She was the daughter of Julio and Phyllis Salini of East Boston, MA. Marie retired from Sears Customer Service in 1995 and then became a well-known volunteer for the Town of Barnstable selling beach stickers. She was a devoted parishioner at St Francis Xavier. Marie and Richard made their home in the west end of Hyannis for over 55 years and wintered often in Boynton Beach raising two children, Deborah Parker of Lake Worth, Florida and Richard Boy Jr of The Villages, Florida. In addition to her children, she is survived by her three grandchildren, Brendan and Siobhan Parker and Ashley Jackson as well as one great granddaughter, Morgan Jackson. She is also survived by her siblings, Jean Poisant of Yarmouthport, Richard Salini of East Boston, and James Salini of Key West. Private family services will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. A Celebration of life is planned for a later date.
