

MARY JO (TEPP) BOYNE of Centerville,MA & Parrish,FL died April 11th resulting from a car accident in St Petersburg, FL. She was born in Stevens Point WI on June 16th,1933. She graduated from St Joseph School of Nursing in Marshfield, WI in 1955 and married John D. Boyne of Centerville,MA on April 7th 1956.
Mrs Boyne cared deeply for the suffering of others and pursued as an RN , As an RN she worked in many different capacities from pediatrics,home health nurse for VNA of CapeCod, VA hospitals, etc. For much of her career she worked in convalescent hospitals caring for the elderly. After retiring from nursing she received her bachelors degree and later her Masters degree in art therapy from Leslie College in Cambridge,MA
Mary Jo was an accomplished artist and saw the world through an artists eyes.She loved taking walks in new fallen snow,watching for robbins to appear in the Spring and viewing her grandaughters latest artwork. Her other passions inlife included sewing , quilting & golf and rooting for the Wisconsin Badgers.She still loved to bake cookies for her grown children and her grandaughter.She was a member of the Hyannisport Club & the River Wilderness Country Club of Parrish,Fl
Survived by her husband and love of her life for 55 years.Her loving family included daughter Shawn Marie Boyne of Carmel,IN , son Daniel J. Boyne and his wife Karen Barss of Cambridge, MA,
brother David R. Tepp of LaCrosse,Wi, one grandaughter Mikaela Jordan Boyne of Cambridge, MA and several nieces & nephews.
She will be deeply missed by her family & friends & her dog “Schatzie”!
Visitation will be Friday April 15th at the Doane ,Beale, & Ames Funeral Home 160 West Main St Hyannis , MA from 4-7pm. A funeral mass will be held at 10am, Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville followed by burial at Beechwood Cemetary and a bereavement luncheon @the Hearth & Kettle in Hyannis.Memorial Donations may be made to Daystar Life center 226 6th St South, St Petersburg Fla. 33701
