Maryanne S Miller

Mim was born in Boston, MA to Gerald P. Smith and Rita J Smith (Claffy). Both of whom greeted her with loving arms in Heaven. Mim resided in Dorchester, Massachusetts and attended St. William's Catholic School where she was Class President. She then attended Mount St. Joseph High School in Brighton, MA. Upon graduation, Mim attended Quincy Junior Community College and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Curry College graduating Suma Cum Laude in Milton, MA with a degree in teaching with a concentration in Special Education. She loved being an educator and taught school in Florida and Massachusetts.

Mim will be remembered for her warmth, selflessness, unconditional love, amazing sense of humor and her love of family and friends.

She is survived by and will be eternally missed by her beloved husband of 43 years of marriage, Ronn E. Miller and by their loving daughter Geralyn M. Miller of Hyannis. Her siblings Thomas Smith of Margate, FL, Kevin Smith (Predeceased), Maryanne’s special brother Gerald S. Smith of Hyannis, Massachusetts and Linda McGovern of South Weymouth, MA. Stepsons, Brett Miller and family of GA, Heath Miller and family of WI and Colby Miller (Predeceased) and his family. Mim shared such a special bond with her Nieces and Nephews; Thomas 'TJ' Smith (Predeceased), Lauren McGovern of Pembroke, MA, Kelley McGovern, of South Weymouth, MA, Patrick McGovern and his wife Krystiana of Plymouth, MA. Great niece Ava Varraso of South Weymouth and Great Nephew Christian Cabral Pembroke, MA. Her Aunt Pat (Ray) Bock of Edison, NJ, Sister-in law Susan (Mark) Musick and family of Lincoln, NE. and her brother-in-law Terry McGovern of Pembroke, Ma. She also leaves behind many wonderful cousins and a circle of close friends. Mim’s memory will remain a blessing to all those whose lives' she touched.

Services for Maryanne are private. There will be a Celebration of Life on her beautiful Cape Cod in the Spring of 2025.
