

As a girl, Pam was an Air Force brat and had fond memories of attending high school in Lincoln, Nebraska. She ultimately graduated from Framingham High School and attended UMass Amherst.
Pam started her banking career in Boston, working at Home Savings Bank in the late 1970s. She then worked for over 15 years at Cambridge Savings Bank in Harvard Square, attaining a Certified Financial Planner designation in 1993 and ultimately retiring as a Vice President in 1999. Pam retired to Yarmouth Port in 2000. She returned to banking a short time later, working for Cape Cod 5 for several years.
Pam was beloved by her many friends and family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a keen interest in current events. She loved cooking, knitting, and was a voracious reader. She also enjoyed movies and theater. She served as a board member and treasurer of the Friday Club and the Cancer Thrift Shop, both in Yarmouth Port.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Ewing and his wife, Laurie, her grandson Calvin Ewing, her niece Susan Stacy and her husband Tom Shanahan, their children Lili and Sam, her nephew Erik Stacy and family her sister-in-law Monika Stacy, and her brothers Peter Hayes and Mitchell Hayes.
Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11, from 2-4 pm at Doane Beal and Ames, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Continuum Hospice or the Friday Club.
