Richard "Rick" Michael Kelsall

Richard "Rick" Michael Kelsall, a beloved, gentle, and kind-hearted soul, passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on October 26, 1968, in Philadelphia, PA, Rick moved with his parents to Cape Cod as a toddler. He was a graduate of Cape Cod Tech, class of 1987. Shortly after graduation, Rick moved to Florida, where he attended the Art Institute of Florida and lived for 20 years. He then moved to Michigan where he resided for several years before returning to Cape Cod five years ago.

Rick was a showroom designer at Floor & Decor in Hyannis. Before this, he worked at the Melody Tent for many years. He was known for his love of music, especially rock music, and enjoyed attending concerts. Rick cherished his family deeply and appreciated spending as much time with them as possible. He adored his nieces and nephews and children of all ages especially littles ones.

Rick is survived by his parents, George and Joanne (Pilat) Kelsall of West Barnstable, MA; niece, Nicole Gregory of Brewster, MA; nephew, US Army SSG Alexander Kelsall of West Barnstable, MA, niece Archer Kelsall of Daytona Beach, FL, and nephew Daniel Kelsall of Deltona, FL. He is also survived by his aunt Ann Brown of Feasterville, PA, his uncle and Godfather Michael Kelsall of Quakertown, PA, his sister-in-law Eileen Kelsall of Deltona, FL, and his very loved and cherished Donna Wiltes. Rick is predeceased by his brother, Doug Kelsall, who passed away in 2008.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Our Lady of Hope, 1581 Main St., West Barnstable, MA 02668, committal service to follow at Crocker Cemetery, 19 Pine St., West Barnstable, MA 02668. Prior to Mass, the family will greet extended family and friends from 10:30 -11 AM.
