Born in Boston, Scott grew up on Cape Cod and was a 1994 graduate of Barnstable High School where he excelled as a football and baseball player.
He was predeceased by his father Robert J Rose who passed away in 1992. He is survived by his mother Christine Rose O'Keefe and her husband William O'Keefe of Weymouth, his brothers Michael Rose of Boston, Mark Rose of Fayetteville, NC and Steve Rose of West Barnstable. He also leaves behind his grandmother Marilyn Ferrara of Boston and numerous aunt, uncles, cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday March 7, 2013 from 5-8pm at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St. Hyannis, MA 02601. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday March 8, 2013 at 10am at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Scott Rose Memorial Fund c/o Citizens Bank 417 Barnstable Rd. Hyannis, MA 02601
