Sharry "Shar" Lynne (Fancher) Granger

Sharry “Shar” Lynne (Fancher) Granger, passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 73. Born in Westport, Connecticut on May 3, 1952, Shar was the beloved daughter of the late Stanton and June (DeLon) Fancher.

Shar grew up in Westin, Connecticut, and later moved to Cape Cod, where she settled in Marstons Mills, Massachusetts. She was known for being kind-hearted and hard-working, traits that defined her throughout her life.

Family was central to Shar's life. She was the cherished mother of Hank Granger and his wife Amy, of Hyannis, Massachusetts. As a grandmother, she adored her grandchildren, Fin Granger and Violet Granger. Shar was also a loving aunt to Nicole Roberts and Kelly Nararmore, both of Connecticut, and a sister to Gary Fancher of Connecticut and Richard Fancher of Kentucky. She will be deeply missed by her partner of over 25 years, William Leary of Nevada and Massachusetts.

Shar had a deep love for horses, having grown up on a horse farm. She enjoyed cooking and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
