

Stephen William Mullin, 69, of Centerville, MA, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, after a long illness. Stephen was born in Boston, MA on May 1, 1956. He graduated from Barnstable High School in 1974, where he excelled in track and field, specifically in pole vault and cross-country. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Rochester, NY. Stephen spent many hours traveling across the country while he worked as a CDL driver. He was a lifelong resident of Cape Cod. His greatest joy was his grandchildren, who called him “Bumpa”. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, sharing his love for the Beatles, and his enthusiasm for the Red Sox.
Stephen was the son of the late William E. and Marjorie M. Mullin of Centerville, MA. He is survived by his son Steven A. Mullin, his wife Catherine, and four grandchildren: William, LillyAnne, Benjamin, and Aurora. He was predeceased by his son, Paul William Mullin, and his brother Theodore Mullin. Additionally, he is survived by his brother Robert Mullin and his wife Linda, his sister Jeanne Mullin Steinmetz and her husband Douglas, his sister-in-law Mary Mullin, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on January 18, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Doane, Beal & Ames, located at 160 W. Main St., Hyannis.
