Sylvia (Holmes) VanAntwerp passed away July 16,2011 following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was a kind and loving person, with a very strong spirit which was with her to the end. She will be missed and has been missed for the past ten years. Sylvia loved to see and entertain family and friends and loved the game of golf. She worked as a title researcher for the law firm of Latanzi Spaulding of Orleans. She is survived by a son, Wayne Cahoon of Yarmouthport, a sister Dorothy Dimock, a brother Richard Holmes both of Dennis and a nephew Jerry Somers of Hyannis. Funeral services and burial are private.
