Thomas Arthur Fellows

Born at Cape Cod Hospital on February 27th, 1929 he was 91 years old. Thomas was the second child of Henry and Helen (Williams) Fellows of Brockton, Ma. He had an elder brother Henry (deceased) and a younger brother Richard (deceased). He was married for 41 years to Marie (Elliott) Fellows of Centerville Ma. and the father of five children, Steven (deceased), Teresa, Laurie, Kevin, and Daniel. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren.

Thomas attended Barnstable public schools and graduated high school in 1946. He was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces Army National Guard and discharged honorably. He had a love of sports and regularly coached local youth basketball. He especially loved sailing and was known as a skilled competitor in the annual Hyannis to Nantucket Fagawi sailing race, winning the event five times in class and once taking best boat overall.

A memorial service is being held for those who wish to attend on Monday February 1st from 4:00-6:00 pm at Doane, Beal, and Ames funeral home, 160 West Main St. in Hyannis.
