Veronica Vivia Dunn, 57, of Hyannis, MA, died Saturday February 20,21. She was born to Roderick Dunn and the late Muriel Wray, January 2, 1964 in Windsor Forest, Portland, Jamaica.
In her early 20’s Veronica moved to Kingston to live with her mother. While there she attended school and obtained a certificate in Cosmetology. In 1980 she met Gladstone Wright and several years after they had three daughters, Tenesha, Alecia and Latoya Wright.
Veronica spent most of her years traveling back and forth from Jamaica, England and the US before deciding to call Cape Cod her home.
Veronica was a loving and dedicated mother. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a grandmother. They were her pride and joy, she did everything to make them happy. She also took care of her dad and the rest of the family. Anyone who called her, she was always there for them.
Veronica was very religious. She prayed and read her bible every day. She called churches for prayer and she travelled to a lot of church convention. She always told us to forgive and leave everything to God. She attended the Living Hope Family Church. Her faith in God was unshakeable and she found comfort in Him.
Veronica is survived by her father Roderick Dunn, her three daughters, Tenesha, Alecia and Latoya Wright, her four grandchildren, Juvaughn Wilks, Lamario Ashley, Kalani and Kamari Lilly. She also is survived by sisters Irone and Hazel Stork, brother Daniel Dunn, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

A viewing will be held at 10:00am Thursday March 4, 2021 at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main Street, Hyannis. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Oak Neck Cemetery in Hyannis. The service will be stream on Facebook live @ Doane Beal & Ames- Hyannis.
