David was born June 12, 1954, in Chillicothe, Missouri to Francis D. and Reta J. (Brotherton) Carroll. David worked at Nichols Remco, DST, Manneco and The KC Star. David enjoyed Steam Engines/Trains, Model Trains, BBQ Cooking, Photography and Wood Working.
His brother Randal Lee Carroll preceded David in death.
Survivors include his wife Debra S. Carroll, his children Kelli R. (James) Lawson, Jeffrey F. (Melissa) Carroll, Daylin S. (Eli) Simons and Lindley W. Bode. Eight Grandchildren Alexia, Jayden, James, Madison, Jennifer, Landon, Alexander and Thomas. His parents and his brother Dennis (Alison) Carroll. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle Robert and Joann Brotherton of Auburn, Indiana and great aunt Luetta Kirker of Auburn, Indiana.
A memorial gathering for David will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, 509 S Noland Rd, Independence, Missouri 64050.
