Born and raised in Davenport, Iowa, Debbie married Barry Gerischer, a retired major in the U.S. Army, and spent over 20 years relocating around the country as a military spouse. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker who kept the household running smoothly and raised her family. She loved deeply and gave what she had to those she cared about, devoting her time and energy without tire or hesitation.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Barry, and their three children: Becky and Lio Iloilo of Missouri, Erik and Meagen Gerischer of Illinois, and Aaron and Meredith Gerischer of Illinois. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service held on August 8th beginning at 10:00am, located at Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence, Missouri.
