

She was born May 5, 1945, in Marlin, TX to her parents Clara Bell Denson and Alfred Conley. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and her five siblings (three brothers and two sisters). Eartha, while in school master's in music consisting of piano, vocals and composing. Later in life she furthered her education by receiving her master's in business. She dedicated her life doing ministry for Christ, always helping others and never wavering in her faith. She was a faithful member of Heritage Christian Center in Colorado where she served as a lead mentor with the youth ministry. She had a passion for volunteering, sponsoring children in need and assisting the elderly in having a better quality of life. Eartha enjoyed cooking a fabulous meal for her family and friends and played a fierce game of dominos. One of her favorite quotes was “The best YOU is good enough”.
Her legacy leaves many surviving loved ones including her four daughters, Karen Davis, Trevina Davis, Marjorie Davis and Risonda Davis. Nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and other loving family & friends.
Eartha Teresa Denson-Davis “Graceful Goodbye” will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:00pm. Location: “Newcomers Noland Road Chapel”, 509 South Noland Road, Independence, Missouri 64050. She will then be flown to her final resting place of choice Amarillo, Texas.
