Anne Weichel

It is with heavy hearts that her family announces the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Anne, beloved wife of August Weichel, passed away at the age of 80 years, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Anne was born January 12, 1933 to John and Antonio Ripplinger and married August Weichel on June 9, 1952. Besides her husband, Anne is survived by three children: Ken (Laurie Schnieder) and their family Craig (Wendy) and their three sons Austin, Rhett and Carson, Curtis (Ashley) and their two sons Carter and Easton, Clark; Jean (Bernie Kotylak) and their family Calvin (Andrea) and their two sons Nathaniel and Jonathan, Denis (Leah) and daughters Kara and Tori and their mother Lacey Rist; Cheryl Roske (friend John Schmidt) and her family Desria (friend Justin) and Dallas and their father Curtis; three sisters: Maggie Sebastian, Clara (Edward) Kress and Leona (Frank) Knoll; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mary Ripplinger, Mike (Babe) Weichel, Theresa Weichel and Katie Stopanski. Anne was predeceased by her parents John and Antonia (nee Baumgartner) Ripplinger; step mother Anne Lenius; daughter Cindy; brother and sister-in-law Chris and Angeline Ripplinger; brothers-in-law: George Sebastian, Cyriac Weichel and Andy Stopanski; nephew Ronald Stopanski, brother Edward in infancy and father-in-law and mother-in-law Martin and Rosalie Weichel. Anneís love was her children, grandchildren great grandchildren and her husband August. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, farming and, playing cards. The funeral mass will be celebrated in the St. Ignatius R.C. Church, Kendal, SK., on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. Ed Hengen. Interment in the parish cemetery.
