McDERMAID - On Monday, September 13, 2010, Hugh John McDermaid, beloved husband of Elaine McDermaid, Indian Head, SK. died suddenly at the age of 47 years. A graveside service will be held in the Indian Head Cemetery, Indian Head, Sk. on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Suzanne Edgar officiating. Cremation. A time of fellowship will be held in the St. Andrew’s United Church Christian Education Centre, 801 Buxton Street, Indian Head following the graveside service. Predeceased by his father, Malcolm McDermaid and step-father Russel Howey. Hugh is survived by his wife Elaine; their childen: Desi James McDermaid, Staci Anne McDermaid (Robert Beaulieu), Darryl John McDermaid and one grandchild Lily Rayne Beaulieu. Hugh is also survived by his mother Violet “ Jean” Howey; one sister Kathleene McDermaid; one brother “Malcolm” David (Donna) McDermaid, two step brothers: Frank (Sharon) Howey and Brian (Barb) Howey as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
