I know Johnny passed a long time ago, but I remember his smile, his laughter and all his little jokes. My husband called them  “Johnny jokes “he was so excited when Joe was born. He wore a brown shoe and a black shoe to the hospital didn’t know it until he got there. It was a great giggle for us all. I hope he met my Lucinda who crossed over a year ago this month. Only good memories are with me about Johnny and Dot. Love from sister-in-law Ileen.🎵

I just heard of your Dad's passing. It was such a privilege to spend time with your folks in Indian Head and then with your Dad when he was in Ontario in September of 2013. I had just purchased a new camera on that latter visit and he was one of my first "subjects" along with my granddaughter, Piper. Such a sense of playfulness and humour and that "twinkle" in his eye. I will also always remember the day I joined them in church in I.H. and he advised me on how to take, and not take, mass at the same time - me not being Catholic! Saddened to hear of the loss of your father, Dave, and for the kids the loss of such a wonderful grandfather (and proud great-grandfather). John was always such a pleasure to be around. The world could use more of his kind. I'll remember fondly the times bumping into him at the café and his banter with Dorothy. Such a great model for all of us. You won't regret a moment spent in his companionship.

I am so sorry for the loss of dear John I thoroughly enjoyed helping to look after him while his short stay in the nursing home he had some great stories and we shared lots of laughs I'm going to miss that God bless and take care
