Marjorie Bray

1922-2016

Marjorie Bray passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Lakeside Nursing Home, Wolseley at the age of 93.

She was predeceased by her husband Clifford in 1999, son Glenn in infancy, daughter Linda, sister Jean, 3 brothers-in-law: John Tuckfield, Tom Bray and Ernie Prior, and sister-in- law Muriel Prior.

Marjorie will be deeply missed by her son Michael (Sharon) Bray, sister-in-law Ruby Bray, and nieces and nephews.

Marjorie Bradley was born in York, England. She was an office worker with Rowntrees in York for about 5 years. A war bride, Marjorie left the city life for a small dairy farm at McLean. She learned to deal with farm work and few amenities in the early years. Later years brought a move to McLean and her assistance with their insurance agency. The death of Linda at age 19 from cancer was a tragic loss. At retirement, she enjoyed travelling with Clifford and meeting once again with her sister after many years apart. Marjorie later moved to Indian Head. She enjoyed her garden, reading and keeping up with what was happening in the world. Thank you to the staff of Hayes Haven and recently Lakeside Nursing Home for the care she received.

A graveside remembrance for family and friends will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Regina, SK on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Cemetery Gate at 1:45 p.m.
