

The Funeral Liturgy will be held in St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Candiac, SK on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Fr. Michael Maranchuk. Prayers will be held in the Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, Wolseley, on Tuesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. Interment in St. Michael's Parish Cemetery.
Olga and her Husband Leo, lived on a farm in the Montmartre district for many years before retiring to Regina. She was active in the church and community and loved to garden and sew.
Olga was predeceased by Leo in 1993; her parents Samuel and Alexandra (Nee Pura) Burkatsky; Mother in Law Mary Shiplack. Brother Paul Burkatsky, one sister Stella Burkatsky, brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike Glowatsky and Joseph Kletzel. John, Peter, Nestor, Trofin, Mike, Victor, Paul and Marcia Shiplack.
She is survived by one son Randy (Gwen) Shiplack and their family Nichole Shiplack, Jaclyne Shiplack (Joel Kattler) and their family Rayna Shiplack and Kase Kattler; Randeen (Derek) Duran and their family Logan, Travis and Claira; one sister Minnie Kletzel, three brothers, Joe (Olga), Bill (lena) and Tony Burkatsky, sisters-in-law, Eunice Shiplack, Eva (Alfred) Jacob, Margaret Shiplack and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a very special Thank You, to Golden Prairie Nursing Home, its staff and volunteers for their kindness and compassion to Mom. The Indian Head Union Hospital, its health care providers for their patience and professionalism and Dr. Anochie. We knew Mom was always in good hands and that was comforting.
