William Racette

WILLIAM (BILL) RACETTE September 23, 1924 June 18, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William J.G. Racette, Abernethy, SK. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Bill was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Emmerance Racette, one daughter Debbie and one son Harry three brothers: Peter, Edward and John Racette, five sisters: Madeline Poitras, Emma Amyotte, Seraphine Blondeau, Josephine Racette and Mary Ann Malbeuf. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Anne Racette, three sons: Charles (Joyce) Racette; Dale (Geri) Racette and Terry (Rhonda) Racette, two daughters: Bev (Lyle) Halford and Charlotte (Bill) Racette, foster daughter Clarice Kanapace and foster son Joe Bruce, twenty one grandchildren and thirty nine great grandchildren, one sister Delphine Holmlund, also his nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lebret, SK., on Friday June 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Ronald Andree. Cremation with interment in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1919 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK. S4P 2R3 may be tokens f remembrance.
