I'm sorry to hear of this loss to all the family.  I have so many memories growing up around Bill he taught me alot growing up and probably didnt realize it.  I have so many stories I dont know where to begin.  I will miss this guy and I wish I could have had one more chat.  Take care Bill.

Bill and I attended Squirrel Hills School (one room school) till grade eight.  On nice days we walked home from school to our farm and he carried on to his farm about a half a mile farther along the fence line.  I have a picture of the 2 of us in front of our Xmas tree when we were about 3.  We graduated grade 12 together also.  One never forgets a good friend.  Condolences to his family.  Pat Ford Lammie

Our deepest condolences to Sheryl and family and Lynn and family. Having know Bill for over 40 years through team roping and rodeos the loss to all of us is deep. I was privileged to serve on town council with Bill and it will be a loss that is felt as deeply.

ICON! Everyone knew Bill, often times on my morning walk, Bill drove by on his way somewhere, towing a horse trailer (that often had a quad inside), always a wave, horn honk and if time permitted a quick stop and chat! One day I was on a drive and came upon Bill and Brian Kessel having a chat on the side of the road, I stopped to say hello and joined in the conversation with them. How many great conversations with Bill happened like that? To all of his family take comfort in all your great memories!

There truly are no words to express the shock and sadness felt by all who ever had the pleasure of knowing Bill ! 
Bill touched so many people’s lives. 
He will not be forgotten.

Our deepest sympathies to Lynn, Bruce & family, Sheryl, Amber and family.  We are so saddened by the loss of our good friend Bill.  

I (Brian) met Bill at the Research Farm in Regina, back in the early 80's.  It didn't take long for us to form a strong friendship and respect for each other...even though most times it didn't sound that way!  

Our friendship lasted through 28 years of working together and continued into our retirement years with weekly visits.   We helped each other through a few bad times and enjoyed many good times over a few vodka and cokes.

There is so much more that I could say about this man,  as I loved him like a brother.   DAMN I WILL MISS HIM!!

Deepest condolences to the Robb family. He was my boss at the experimental farm years ago. Always enjoyed our conversations and his words of wisdom.

What can u say bt Bill… He always had time to have a chin wag with anyone. I’ve always had  nothing but respect for him. It was a bit of a shock to hear bt his passing, my confidences go out to his family. Bill will be dearly missed by many.

Our son and then our grandson worked with bill at the experimental farm and we heard many hilarious stories about bill and his antics, and they had the deepest respect for him, as he treated them with respect also. May God grant you His strength thro this difficult time

My sincere condolences Lynne, Bruce, Danton, Hunter, Cheryl, Amber and family.  Bill was one of a kind!  He will be missed by many! I was privileged ( as were many many others) to call him FRIEND!  Have lots of memories but one that comes to mind was when he, and Bruce allowed me to help them build ( more like get in their way) a fence for a pasture on my acreage for our horses.  I believe the start of a business.  I got that head shake, bit of a mutter better luck next time more than once.

Lynn, Bruce, Cheryl and family we are so very sorry for the loss of this special person in your lives. He was  very special to many people and will be missed by all. We will have you in our thoughts and prayers😥

Bill was one of my favourite “grumpy old men”. I have wonderful memories of Bill and his family, their support and friendship over many years. The first time I “officially” met Bill, I was 28. I mentioned to him that my dad had worked with him on a highways crew. Bill said “that was about 30 years ago” and I said, “I know, it was before I was born.”  He chuckled, his family laughed and teased him about how old he was and a friendship was born. And then another 20 years goes by in a blink of an eye. 
My thoughts are with all of Bill’s family. He was a good man. And I will miss him. But I have no doubt that “he’s still out there riding fences, you just can’t see him from the road.”
