Ada R. Hamilton

Ada Rogers Hamilton, 73, of Noblesville, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2025. Born November 2, 1951, in Cadiz, Kentucky, to Maybee and Florence Rogers, Ada dedicated her life to caring for others.

She graduated from Trigg County High School and earned her B.S. in Nursing from Murray State University in 1973. Ada served faithfully as a nurse at Methodist Hospital and the Department of Veterans Affairs for 25 years.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and follower of Christ, Ada was a cherished member of Loving Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Michael E. Hamilton; sons Michael A. (Casey) Hamilton and Matthew D. (Veronique) Hamilton, bonus daughter Jennifer Hamilton; eight beloved grandchildren — Ariana (Casey) M. Prather, Josiah R. Freeman, Michael “Isaiah” Hamilton, Lailah N. Hamilton, Parker J. Hamilton, Matthew “M.J.” D. Hamilton, Jr., Ada C. Hamilton, Kai A. Hamilton; and one great grandchild Casey “Deuce”John Prather, II.

She is also survived by her siblings Lester (Benda) Rogers, Rose (Keith) Simpson, Lavern (Lee) Crump, Derek (Joyce) Rogers, and Johnny (Debbie) Smith, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Ivery Dixon, Lurlean “Cookie” Wilson, and brothers Trennie Rogers, Donnie Rogers, Cecil Smith, Jr., and Chris Smith.

She was an active member and “Mother” at Loving Missionary Baptist Church. Her life was a testimony of her strong faith in Jesus Christ as well as her lifelong commitment to serving others and sharing His love through her words and actions.

A visitation will be held at Loving Missionary Baptist Church, located at 802 W. Roache Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208, on November 14, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location, starting at 12:30 pm on November 14, 2025.
