

Aline Judith (Hansen) Wiedow, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024, at Hoosier Village Health Center. She was born June 14,1936 in Long Beach, California to the late Glen and Judith Hansen.
Aline was preceded in death by her sister, Melody (William) Sturma, as well as her stepson, Norman Roger (Cheri) Wiedow, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Norman Roger Wiedow, and daughters Susan (Joe) Betulius and Tracy (William) Dull. She is also survived by her sister Dawn Hansen (Denny) Lodin, Grandchildren Thomas (Sarah) Wiedow, Grant (Elizabeth) Betulius, Allison and Amy Betulius. Joshua, Sophee and Cho Dull. Special nieces Stacy Sturma, Jessica (Mark) Elder and Emily (Jesse) Spring and many great nieces and nephews.
Aline’s lifelong servant leadership gifts developed as a young lady in Rainbow Girls, and later through Bible Study Fellowship and involvement in Salem United Church of Christ. Her desire to serve and care for others knew no bounds especially when it came to family members. Aline held several positions of employment as an administrative assistant. For fun, Aline loved to read, snowbird to Florida, dance the night away with the love of her life, Norm, and attend grandchildren’s events over the years.
After graduating from Gage Park High School in Chicago, Aline briefly attended Northwestern University in Journalism. Aline married Norm on April 15,1961, and they became involved in each community they lived in: Chicago Ridge, Lockport, and Orland Park Illinois. They moved to Hoosier Village Retirement Community in Indianapolis, In in 2021.
The family of Aline would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Hoosier Village and the team at Paradigm Hospice for their loving care of Aline.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held August 14, 2024, at 3pm, officiated by Chaplain Ron May at the Hoosier Village Chapel, 5385 Soapberry Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
