  "Son-In-Law"
Just had many blessings in my life- my family, my wife, my girls, my grandbabies, my career, and one 
the ranks high on my list is that I was blessed with the best in-laws any man could ask for. Travis and Alyne
welcomed me into there home when Pam and I first started dating and sometime thereafter, they welcomed me
into their family.
Well, maybe a little more Alyne than Travis. As
Pam and I were getting started in our new life together, Travis and Alyne were always there when needed help and
would never ask for or take anything in return - never. So, as time went by and I found that I was able to pay back
some of my debt to them by helping them with small jobs around their house. They would always offer to pay for
this or that or just me helping. But, turnabout is fair play, so I would never take anything from them, as they would 
never take anything from me in those early days. Since I wouldn't sayâ€¦."I thank ya till your better paid"
And that' s what family's do, they take care of each other!
To me, Travis and Alyne were the perfect example of "good ol" country folk" just like my parents and
I think that's
why we got along so well. They never knew a stranger, never turn anyone away needing help. And Travis (grandpa) 
could tell a story after story of the good old days. I think there was a couple of time when he even made the 
telemarketers hang up on him!
If you ever left their house hungry, it was fault, because Alyne would not let anyone leave there with an empty
stomach.
And , man, talk about some good, down home country cooking' she was amazing. I think I know some people
right now that are scrambling looking for some recipes of hers that may or may not be in the drawer somewhere.
In closing, I just want to say that she, along with Travis and others that have gone before her, will be sorely 
missed until we meet again.
And, I wanted to give you some idea of the relationship that Alyne and I had. Just this last weekend, as a few of
us were gathered around her bed there was a moment when she was just starring at me. Pam noticed this
long stare and asked "mommaâ€¦"is here something you want to tell Joe?" After a second, she looked 
at me and saidâ€¦"you're ugly!! Of course everyone got a huge laugh out of that, and she looking at 
everyone laughing and had a that "smile" on her face, The only comeback I had was, I looked at her and saidâ€¦
"I LOVE YOU TOO"

"I Can Remember "
I was asked to come up with good memories of my grandma, but it is so hard to come up with just one..
I can remember as a kid going to grandma's to help rake leaves in the fall. 
I can remember as a kid going to grandma's to spend the night with her, when the night's were cold, she
let us in her bed.
I can remember as a kid going to grandma's to have Easter Hunt and Dinner.
Gotta love grandma's cornbread scuffing and deviled eggs! =)
I can remember as a kid going to grandma's to help her mow her grass and taking her to the
mall in the summertime.
As an adult now, I'm glad my husband and my son got to meet such a special woman to me!!
She was such a strong, loving and incredible person to know!!
Those who knew my grandma knows that you will never meet anyone as caring as she. 
My grandma will be truly missed!!!

 They brought her so much JOY. It really was a blessing to be able to share their lives with her.

To me, Grandma was our safe haven. When our world was broken.
 she gave me, my sister and brother a stable HOME with LOVE and SECURITY.
 I will miss going "HOME" and grandma not being there.

 There are so many Good Memories at my grandparents. Growing up I remember how almost every year
grandma & pa took me and my sister to the state fair, and how I always looked forward to it cause of the 
great time we had. How I loved to go spend the night at their home and staying up with them to watch Hee-Haw.
Or when I got sick at school grandma would come and get me and take to her home and take care of me.
My grandma was the most loving person I've ever known and she taught me so many lessons in life! I will truly
miss her and I loved her with all my HEART.

  "Not Often In Life"
 It is not often in life that you meet someone that everyone and I mean everyone likes. My grandmother
 treated everyone genuinely. My grandmother treated everyone the same, with a loving kindness that could never
be taught. Never treated any of her family differently, she had enough love to go around. We could only try to
be what she is and was. Even though we will no longer hear her voice and see her smile, we will still feel 
her wonderful life in each one of us. Let her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren live, love people
and life the way she did. Let us not forget one of the greatest person that ever lived and will continue to
live through each of us. we love you and will never forget the life that you shared with us.

Misty and Tiffany, I am truly sorry for your loss. I did have the pleasure of meeting your grandma a few times and I could tell in those few moments that she was an angel waiting to get her wings... My grandma will be missed very much. I'm so grateful to have such great memories of an amazing grandma. She meant a lot to me and my family, she loved us unconditionally. I find peace knowing she is with my dad and grandpa now, she missed them very much. May she rest in peace and we will see her again some day.
