Andrea is survived by her loving husband, William Koch; her daughter Cynthia Green; her son Scott (Helene) Koch; her daughter Suzy (Derek) Wegmann; her brother James Porter; her 5 grandchildren; and her 3 dogs: Sweetie Pie, Sox, and Dolly Parton.
Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Howard Eugene Porter and her mother, Evelyn Dorothy Porter.
Andrea graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1961, and spent some time as a teacher before spending the majority of her time as an artist and raising her loving family as a homemaker. She was an American Horticultural Society Master Gardner, and Hoosier Salon artist. An avid sports fan, Andrea also enjoyed reading, birdwatching, and nature.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Misty Wilson for being a wonderful friend and caregiver to Andrea.
A visitation for Andrea will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 12:30 PM at Rocklane Cemetery, 3617 Rocklane Road, Greenwood, IN 46143.
