Nécrologie de Andrew Luetkehans
January 16, 1995 - October 12, 2020 Andrew Jordan Luetkehans (Hans to his friends) got to his final resting place on Monday, October 12 after a four and a half year battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma. He fought the good fight the only way he knew how- with a fierce tenacity. He was truly a warrior. Andrew grew up in Wheaton, Illinois where he played soccer for Wheaton Academy. He later attended Taylor University on a soccer scholarship. After graduation, he and his wife became proud residents of Indianapolis, Indiana. Andrew had a fun-loving sense of competition, and was a gloating champion of all goofy games including, but certainly not limited to: Beersby, Corn Hole, Jenga, Sequence, Settlers of Catan, Mario party, Darts, Mini-Golf, and Bowling. Andrew was a faithful friend to many. In his 25 years of life he never once broke a promise. He valued loyalty above all else, and his relationships were deep and intentional. He was truly the biggest fan and advocate of those he loved. He was, and will always be, the type of person whose life simply imprinted on those who knew him, and he will forever be a gaping but love-filled hole in the hearts of so many. He is survived by his wife Alycia Luetkehans. Parents, Daniel and Carol Luetkehans. Brother Joshua (Meghan) Luetkehans. Sisters Jenna (Stewart) Robinson and Danielle (Christopher) Jahns. Grandmothers Sheila Luetkehans and Barbara Graf. Nieces, Londyn, Hazel, Brooklynn, and Sydney. And nephews Samuel, Rory, Wyatt, and Grayson. He entered the gates of Heaven just months behind his beloved uncle, Reed, and weeks behind his adored grandfather, Frank. He is also proceeded in death by his grandfather, Jim Luetkehans, and his uncle, Ken Luetkehans. Andrew loved well, and he is loved fiercely.
