

Andrew was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Don A. and Marjorie Wirick (née Butler) on October 13, 1961. He attended St. Richard's Episcopal School for Kindergarten, and then Park Tudor School from Grades 1-12. Andrew was a member of Alpha Tau Omega and wrestled at DePauw University, where he graduated in 1983. Andrew continued his education at the McKinney School of Law, graduating in 1986. He married Lynn Wirick (née Wendland) on May 4th, 1988, at Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Indianapolis. They were blessed with four children: two daughters and two sons.
After graduation, Andrew served as Law Clerk for the Honorable J. Patrick Endsley, Magistrate Judge, United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. After completing his clerkship, he served as litigation attorney for the Consolidated City of Indianapolis-Marion County, Indiana, eventually becoming the Chief Counsel for Litigation. Andrew was a Senior Partner at Hume Smith Geddes Green & Simmons, LLP and worked there for 22 years. He was involved in the Golden Hill Neighborhood Association (president from 2004-2012) and Divine Savior Lutheran Church as a member of church council and as president (2003-2010).
Andrew is preceded in death by both of his parents, Don and Marjorie Wirick.
Andrew is survived by his former spouse, Lynn, and four children: Victoria, Gabrielle, Dylan and Maxwell Wirick. Andrew will be missed, but not forgotten, by his family and friends. Through the Holy Spirit working in his heart, Andrew was baptized and given faith in our Almighty and Loving God. Andrew will rest in the eternal grace and peace that is his home in heaven with our Savior, Jesus.
