Angela Yvonne Archie

Angela received her GED from Broad Ripple high school in 1983, continuing on her education to obtain many certificates including radiation therapy and stress management. Angela worked at Curley's Cleaners for 20 years before joining the department of FSSA for 17 years.

Angela was joined in holy matrimony to Actward Archie on April 14, 1993. She gave her life to Christ on March 27, 2011 at Fall Creek Parkway Church of Christ.Angela was a fun lady with a personality of her own. She loved to entertain and party. She also loved her music and had the biggest music collection, but most of all, Angela loved her family and friends.

Angela is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Elenora (Stewart) Wilson; brothers Jeffery Wilson and Marvin Stewart; sister Laren B. Johnson; nephews Domanick and Lenard Germany. She is survived by her daughter, Lakina M. Curry; grandson, Adrian Curry; sisters, Marva Wilson, Sheila Germany, Jennifer Wilson and Paula Richardson; nephews Mark Chandler and Sanford White; nieces Takisha Cobbs, Helen Webster and Ebony Chandler; and a host of great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 10AM to 12PM at Trinity Baptist Church Indianapolis, 3162 Baltimore Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46218. A service is to follow. Angela will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
