Angela Yvonne Howell

Angela Y. Howell was born on July 25, 1957, in Portsmouth, Virginia. Angela’s parents moved their family which included Angela and her four brothers and two sisters to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1970. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1976 and later attended Ivy Tech Community College.

Angela worked in the health care industry for many years. She had a long tenure at Methodist Hospital, and she later worked at Saint Vincent’s Hospital. Angela, continue work as a Home Health Aide until her passing.

Angela was wonderful person who loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her one only child Omar S. Williams Sr., and her three grandsons: Omar Williams Jr., De’Mario Williams, and Ramod Williams. She was fun loving and full of life. Angela loved to cook, especially on Sundays which was a tradition that was passed down to her from her mother Bertha Gibson.

Angela was the life of the party everywhere she went, and she loved to sing and dance to music. Also, she loved to travel and frequent the casinos. Angela never met a stranger no matter where she went, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial gathering for Angela will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM.
