Arlene Frances Caldwell

Arlene Frances Caldwell was born December 26, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John and Lucy Adams. She was the baby girl of six siblings. Arlene attended IPS #26. Her mother passed and she moved to Gary, Indiana where she lived with her sister and graduated from Gary Westside High School. She moved back to Indianapolis married and joined the work force. Due to health reasons she retired in 1998 from Lane Bryant. Arlene was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Church where she loved praising her Lord. Arlene always had a huge smile on her face at all times. Arlene was a true loving, energetic giving soul. She fed you with food and love. On June 16, 2014 Arlene suffered a Severe and debilitating stroke. She fought hard for her life until she met her Lord and Savior in His heavenly kingdom on April 24, 2021. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, six siblings and grandson. Arlene is survived by sons Barry D. Johnson (Alison), Avary B. Sims and Kevin Sims; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Arlene Frances Caldwell, age 72, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Arlene was born December 26, 1948 in Indianapolis. Memorial service for Arlene will be held, 12:00 pm, Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Williams and Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples' Chapel, 5252 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
