Arthur "Dale" Cook Jr., age 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away in his home on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Dale was born on October 15, 1943 to the late Ruby and Arthur Cook Sr. in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dale graduated from Flaget High School in Louisville, though the school is now closed he always kept up with his alumni status.
Most of his life Dale was an avid bowler. He bowled multiple times a week, at one point he was bowling every day and multiple times a day. He was a previous member of the Cavalier Men's Club, and of course excelled in bowling. He was extremely proud of his huge collection of bowling balls and trophies.
When he wasn't at the bowling alley, Dale was working as a machinist for Navistar until his retirement.
He was a true dog lover, treating his furry companions just like his own children.
Dale is survived by his children; Ronald Dale Cook, Kathryn Delores Denison (Larry), Jennifer Lynn Cook, Cathy Denise Jenkins, his grandchildren; Sarah Denison, Sheila Denison, Joshua Cook, Tiara Cook, Leah Reitzel, Kasey Cook, Hailey Cook, Brayden Cook, Makayla Cook, his great grandchildren; Trinaty Bouchard and Kaydence Timmons, and his brother; Gerald Cook (Linda). Also surviving is his beloved Chihuahua; Baby Boy.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Cook and his granddaughter; Crystal Timmons.
A visitation for Dale will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
