It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on September 4th, 2024, at the age of eighty. Barbara was born on, March 24th, 1944. Loving daughter to Esther Boston, Daniel Boston and sister Mary Vogel spent her life dedicated to caring for others, both in her personal and professional life.
Her gentle spirit, patience, and unwavering kindness touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues alike. Beyond her work, she was a pillar of strength and love to her family, always offering a helping hand and words of comfort.
Married to her loving husband, William Tittle, for forty-five beautiful years, they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect. Together, they built a home that was warm, welcoming, and filled with cherished memories. Barbara will forever be remembered for her generosity, selflessness, and the deep love she showed to everyone she encountered.
Barbara was a woman of many joys, one of which was her passion for reading. She could often be found immersed in a good book, escaping into the worlds of history, murder mystery and knowledge. She also enjoyed the warmth of the sun, spending hours sunbathing and appreciating nature’s beauty. Above all, Barbara cherished time with her family, especially during the holidays. She looked forward to the gatherings around with family and friends upon Halloween seeing all of the children’s spooky costumes, cooking alongside of her children during Thanksgiving as well as Christmas that most often ended with a cup of homemade egg nogg or a cup of her favorite coffee under the tree where her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of togetherness.
She is survived by her loving caring husband Willaim Tittle, daughters Beth Graves, Mellissa Weaver & son Christopher Weaver along with her grandchildren Allan Oliver, Jeremy Graves, Daniel Oliver, Jackie Graves, and Kathryn Weaver who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Though she is no longer with us, free of pain and suffering her legacy of kindness and care will live on in all who knew her.
A memorial mass service will be held on Friday Sept 20th at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes, 5333 Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46219 to celebrate Barbara ’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes or Saint Jude’s Childrens Hospital in her honor, as a tribute to her lifelong dedication to helping others.
