Bernadine Dorothy McKallip

Bernadine "Bernie" Dorothy McKallip, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, at the age of 93, in Zionsville Indiana. Bernie was born on May 13, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bernie worked as a school administrator at Oaklandon Elementary from 1974 to 1994. She was known for her smile, creativity, kindness, hospitality and her unwavering dedication to her family. Bernie will be deeply missed by her children: Dave, Ron, Tom (Fatima), Maureen (Chuck) and Steve; her grandchildren: Ryann (Eric), Kimberely (Mike), Adam, Ron (Ky), Brandon, Joshua (Meredith), Jacob, Rebekah and Robert; her great grandchildren: Layne, Spencer, Charlotte, Hunter and Peyton. Bernie was predeceased by her husband, Robert, and two sons, Ken and Joe. No services will be held at this time.
