Our dear Bernice, passed on March 22, 2025, at the age of 91 years old. She was met at Heaven Gates by her three sons: Michael, Anthony, and Steven Fields; grandson, Steven Jr., and long time friend and ex-husband, Robert Fields.
Bernice had a pure heart and the prettiest smile with a gold tooth. She loved to cook and would fix anybody a plate of food who walked through her door. She loved being with family and watching old western reruns. In her younger days you could always find her at “Willie Mobile” or the horse track with Stevie.
Bernice will be greatly missed by her 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and other family members.
A celebration of life for Bernice will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
