
Born on October 4th, 1933 to the late Garvin and Inez (Herzog) Brown in Indianapolis. Betty graduated from Shortridge High School in 1951. She married the late August "Gus" Piccione on December 24th, 1953 and they were lifelong residents of Indianapolis.
Betty thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and beloved dogs. Travel, gardening, nature hikes and attending musical performances also brought great joy to her life. As an active member and volunteer at Saints Peter & Paul Cathedral in Indianapolis, her faith and catholic beliefs were an important part of her daily life.
For many years Betty was a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother. She leaves of us with an abundance of wonderful memories of family gatherings, vacations to the beach, ice skating at the Coliseum, scouting excursions, picnics and lazy summer days of swimming at the Riviera Club.
Betty worked part time for a number of years while raising her family and later resumed a successful full time career in accounting. She began her accounting career working for the Churchman Steel Company and then at the Ferguson Steel Company, where she ultimately retired in 2000.
Betty is survived by; her daughter, Michelle Piccione-Soultz (Kevin Soultz) and grandson, Andrew Soultz, her son, Steven Piccione (Heather), her grandchildren Emma, Hannah and Elliott.
