Bige Bowling, age 82, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Bige was born in Clay County, Kentucky to the late Ida (Eversole) Bowling and Grover Bowling. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Faye Bowling.
Bige was known as "Country" to all. He owned his own concrete construction business and had worked all over the country with other companies. Country was proud to have poured the foundation for the Sears building in Indianapolis and done the concrete work for the Long's Bakery locations.
Country is survived by his daughters, Sharon Hendrickson and Kim Volz and grandchildren, Kyle Hendrickson (Katie), Matthew Volz, Alec Volz, and Amber Volz.
He will be laid to rest at a later date with his wife at Beech Creek Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.
