Billie Mae Roberts

Billie was born on November 21,1944 in Indianapolis to William and Gertrude Marendt. She was married to Fred Roberts who preceded her in death in 2019. She was also preceded in death by her parents William and Gertrude Marendt and sister Linda Marendt. She worked at Stokely Van Camp for many years as a janitor. She loved playing bingo, going to the casinos, playing cards and bowling.

She is survived by her children Tammy(Charles) Hamblen, Honey (Bob) Gant, Frances (Wayne) Melton, and Ronnie (Kim) Singleton,brother Mackey Hewitt, 21 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

A public visitation for Billie will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 East Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 4901 East Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237. An entombment will occur Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Washington Park East Cemetery - Washington Park Cemetery Association, 10612 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
