

71, of Indianapolis died September 3, 2015 at Community East Hospital. Bobbi was born February 12, 1944 to the late Joseph Kent and Dorothy (Ashe) O’Connor in New York City. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Bobbi was a longtime member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, where she was a lector. She was a decorated scout leader of Boy Scouts of America. She earned many prestigious accolades including, the District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver, Order of the Arrow – Vigil Honor and distinguished member of Wood Badge – Bear. Bobbi became a scout leader in 1963 and influenced many young men to become who they are today. Her dedication and sense of community also led her to become a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Division One.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Raymond “Skip” Nunweiler; children, Bev (Brint) Hockenberry, Ann (Chris) Dowless, Peter (Kristina) Nunweiler and Raymond (Michele) Nunweiler III; grandchildren, Paul Eppig, Erikk Eppig, Kristen Nauss, Lauren Crowe, Jackie Nunweiler, Michael Nunweiler, Jeremy Nunweiler, Rachel Nunweiler, Mychal Nunweiler, Kacie Nunweiler and Allison Nunweiler and great-grandchildren, Quentin, Alana, Michael and Logan Eppig, Kaniya Lee and Bri’anna Lancaster.
Visitation followed by Memorial Mass for Bobbi will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm in the church narthex.
