

Charlene was born on August 27, 1940 to Charles Skillman and Ruth (Weber) Skillman in Indianapolis. Charlene graduated from Little Flower Catholic School in 1954 and Scecina in 1958, maintaining friendships with ladies in her first grade class. She went on to establish her own business as a beauty shop owner.
In 1964, she met and married her husband Thomas Fisher. They shared 23 years together until his passing. They had three children together.
Charlene was active in St. Vincennes DePaul and the Women’s Club. She was also praised as a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her favorite hobbies were bird watching and volunteering all of her time to help others. Charlene’s favorite color is purple and her favorite word is whatever. She will be truly missed by family and friends.
Charlene was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Fisher. She is survived by her children, Kelley Fisher, Mark Fisher, and Ruth Ingram; grandchildren, Joe and Lisa Ingram, and her great grandson J.T. Ingram.
