

57,died peacefully in his home on Saturday, July 25th. He was born at St. Vincent Hospital on June 25, 1958. He was a longtime member of the Plasterers and Cement Masons Union and worked as a concrete finisher for numerous contractors.He graduated from Roncalli High School in 1976 where he played football.He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed working on projects in his home workshop.Chris was a loving husband and father and a kind and gentle person. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Chris is survived by his wife, Martha (Smith), daughters, Toni Lynn (William) Watson and Nichole (Rich) Abner, seven grandchildren; Chelsea, Taylor, Emily, Hayden, Nathan, Riley and Zachary Mother; Therese (Ritter) Starks, Nine brothers and sisters. Steven (Rosina), Starks , Nancy Stumpp, Beth (Don)Ferguson, Bob (Jay) Starks, Tom Starks, Jackie (Bob) Heinzelman, Clara (Dan) Nehmer , Barbara (Mark) Gilkes and Andy (Carol) Starks.
Chris was preceded in death by his father Jack Starks and younger sister, Kathleen.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Little and Sons Stop Eleven Chapel on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.
