Connor Jamal Turner

Connor Jamal Turner, age 17, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away, Saturday, August 10, 2019. Connor was born September 19, 2001, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to his mother, Jermica Dycus and father, John Turner. Connor Turner was a senior at Lawrence Central High School. He was a member of Belzer Middle School and The Lawrence Wrestling Team where he won many matches due to his strength, agility and strategies. Connor played baseball from 2011 until 2016 for the Oaklandon Youth Organization (OYO). Connor was a contributor to the win of the OYO Fall Baseball Champions. Connor had a love for all sports. Connor attended Blessed Hope Apostolic Church, Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Church and Turning Point Family Worship Center Summer Youth Camp; however, his membership was at Temple of Praise Apostolic Church where he attended for many years. Connor leaves cherished memories with his loving mother, father, sophisticated grandmother, grandfather, siblings, aunts, uncles, great aunts, cousins and a host of other special relatives and friends. Funeral Service for Connor will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, August, 17, 2019 at Old Bethel United Methodist Church, 7995 East 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN., with a visitation from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana.
