Corrie Janae Wilson

Mrs. Wilson was born in Indianapolis to Alfred and Idovie Finnell on October 12, 1934. She was married to the late Dr. Rudy Wilson in Indianapolis. She graduated from Crispus Attucks High School and received her master's degree from Butler University. Mrs. Wilson taught in the Indianapolis Public Schools for over 40 years. She was a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and served as past president.

Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Rudy Wilson and parents Mr. & Mrs. Alfred Finnell, Sr.

She is survived by her son Rudy Jr. (Linda), granddaughters Erica Wilson Coronel (Marco), Dayna Glidden (Ryan) of Murfreesboro, TN, Dr. Chantel Rice (Adam) of Mt. Juliet, TN., and great-grandchildren Jaylen and Avery Coronel, and Emery Glidden of Murfreesboro, TN. She is also survived by brothers, Alfred Finnell Jr, Rudolph Eric Finnell, and sister Ramona Finnell all of Indianapolis and a host of other relatives and close friends.

A Celebration of Life for Corrie will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
