Daisy Pearlie Beatrice Williams-Lewis, 96, Indianapolis, passed away on October 30, 2013. She was a member of Believers in Christ Church. Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Minnie Chislom Williams; husband Chester Lewis; and five children, Dennis; Annette; William and Chester Lewis, Jr.; and Shirley Bailey.
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, children: Rudolph Lewis(Janet); James Lewis (Lenita); Constance Clark; Delores Thornton; Gloria Vaughn; Debra Davenport(Ralph); Lana Lewis-Talib(Yahya); and Linda Everett(Dubois); brother, Ronald Williams and sisters: Viola E. Easley and Willa B. Allen (Henry); 19 grandchildren 33 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren, nephew, Richard Williams, a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2013, 10am - 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church 1301 North Goodlet Ave. Burial will follow immediately at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home 5252 East 38th. Street.
