Dan worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield before becoming self-employed, partnering in Collegiate K-9 attire and later landscaping with his son before retirement.
Danny loved baseball at every level, as a kid playing himself, coaching little league for his son, traveling all over Indiana cheering his grandson, Jake, playing through the years, or his journeys to multiple states watching the Majors with his wife, who became an enthusiast as well.
What really brought DJ joy in his life was being Papaw, adored by all 11 grands and greats, it was truly magical to watch. The only thing that may have paralleled that adoration would be the love he shared with his darling wife, Kate. Dancing in the living room celebrating the beautiful life they created over the decades.
