My dance instructor, mentor, partner and friend for over 30 years.  Your absence in my life cuts deeply.  I miss you desperately and cherish all of those precious memories we made.  Love you always.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Daniel’s sudden passing and thought immediately of Carl and the Le Danse staff.  
He was my dance teacher for at least 2 years at Le Danse Ballroom.  I loved my lessons with him, and at one time we realized we were both the same age. He had such a joy teaching dance and being at the club on dance party nights.  I still remember the way he described the attitude during tango when teaching me a particular move.  I also remember  how he had started ballroom dancing due to accompanying his mother when she learned. 
My deepest condolences to Carl, Daniels’s extended family and the Le Danse Ballroom staff. 
He was taken too soon.  God Bless.  

I still can't believe we've had our last dance, Daniel.  Thank you for the gift of your friendship and  so many wonderful memories.  I will treasure them  always.



Daniel was our marvelous, creative dance instructor, and he will remain our dance inspiration for as long as we live. And Daniel will live in our hearts because he was so much more- always present, loving, kind, funny, and a great storyteller. My wife and I earlier this year resumed dance lessons and we were so fortunate to have Dan be our instructor.  He was gentle, unassuming and an excellent teacher.  We were shocked by the news of his sudden passing.  He is missed by us and we wish his family and friends solace at this difficult time.
We have made a donation to KidsDanceOutreach as the family requested instead of flowers.  Blessings on you all.

You are greatly missed! Will really miss our silly 😜 conversations and 💃 dancing.  Will cherish the memories of the fun times we had.

I am deeply stunned and saddened to hear of Daniel’s unexpected passing. It is still hard to believe that he is not with us anymore.
He was not only a great dance teacher but also a great fur-parent and a sincere friend. I remember talking about our spoiled kitty babies all the time.

Last night, he appeared in my dream. He took my hand to the dance floor and we danced cha cha solo in front of the audience. I really felt his warmth and softness of his hand. Thank you for the last dance, Daniel. 

He will be missed by so many. His kind nature and the bright face will always be alive in our hearts and memories.

I met Daniel through Carl. He came to support Carl at his first showcase with our studio. I was lucky enough to dance with him a few times and get to know him a little bit.  May he Rest In Peace. 💙

because they are our friends, and others just because.  You fit in
the last category.  Just because you were you.  I have forgotten
some of the dance steps you taught me, but I'll never forget your
patience, your understanding and how you could sympathize with

It is with great sadness that I offer my sincere condolences to Daniel's family and friends.  Knowing Daniel was having the privilege of knowing one of life's genuinely kind people.  As a dancer, I have many cherished dance memories as of result of Daniel's expertise and joy of dance.  Those memories now feel like a very special gift.

I will miss our seemingly never ending conversations… 

I have known Daniel my whole life (42yrs).  My mother loves to tell the story, that I was the first baby he ever held.  He was always an integral part of my life, the dance studio that I grew up in, and eventually grew to work in, as well.  Our relationship has been symbiotic and multifaceted throughout the years…  

Daniel uplifted our community through his dedication to the arts, his passion for dance, and the love he had for his students.  What a wonderful legacy he created in life, by making such an impact on so many, that will last long after his death.

But as I write this and reflect.  I know that I will just miss my friend, and all of those conversations we shared…




I hadn't seen Dan in decades, but remember him as a kind, outgoing, fun kid who was my neighbor and my brother's best friend during his school years.  I'm sure he will be greatly missed by all his loved ones.

I am so sad about Daniel.  I still can't believe it.  I will never ever forget him.  He is probably the nicest, kindness man I have ever known.
