Danny Lee Anderson

A lifelong craftsman, Danny worked in construction and took pride in building with his hands and helping others. He was known for his big heart, his love of the open road on his Harley-Davidson, countless days spent hunting and fishing, and his trademark good natured teasing that brought smiles to family and friends alike.

Danny is survived by his wife, Bonnie Collins Anderson of Poland, Indiana; his sons, Danny and Timmy; his stepsons, Jacob Collins, Shane Collins Yosha; his stepdaughter, Marissa Dodson; his brother, Harry Anderson (wife, Shirley Gibson); his sisters, Diana Anderson Padgett (husband, Mike Padgett) and Lynn Anderson Hodge (husband, Tony Hodge); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored their "Paps." He was preceded in death by his former wife, Lora Ann Lilly Anderson; his parents, Arlie and Annie Anderson of Fortville, Indiana; his brothers, Larry and Charlie, both of Fortville; and his sister, Sue of Indianapolis.

The family appreciates the love and support from all who knew and cared for Danny and invites friends to share memories and condolences during this time.

A visitation will be held at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, located at 1307 N. Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46219. The visitation is scheduled for October 16, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A graveside service will take place at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Ave, Indianapolis, IN, 46203, on October 17, 2025, at 12:00 pm.
