Danny R. Brown

Mr. Danny R. Brown, the son of the late Charles H. Brown,Sr. and Lucille Brown was born October 5, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Danny was the youngest of three children. Danny departed this life Sunday, March 8, 2020. He was 61 years 5 months 3 days, at time of passing.

He attended Indiana public School #69. Danny graduated from Broad Ripple High School Class of 77, after high school Danny served in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged on January 4, 1982.

Danny was a great husband and father, a very hard worker. Danny was a strong willed “Man” and great provider for his family. He was an outstanding Grandfather also known as “Bubbs Daddy” by his grandchildren.

Danny worked for BMG Music Group for over 23 years. Danny was baptized at Free Church of God, October 26, 2014, by his pastor Elder Dexter Powell. Danny attended church until his health failed.

Danny was united in Holy matrimony to Yollanda Allen on February 13, 1981, they were married 32 years until time of her death. Three daughters where born to this beautiful union Dana, Shaollanda and Rochelle.

Danny is preceded in death by his wife Yollanda Brown; father Charles H. Brown and mother Lucille Brown.

Danny leaves to cherish his memories daughters, Dana Brown, Shaollanda Brown (Larry) and Rochelle Brown; five grandchildren, Dikia, DaMya, Landon, Dakota and Tyrell; two siblings Charles H. Brown, Jr.,Michelle Kelly (Cledius), two brothers in law Cledius Kelly of Texas, Ellis Paul Allen Jr of Los Angeles, two sisters in law Lauren Allen and Kim Ross Brown and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Danny will truly be missed especially “That Smile” that would light up a room.

Funeral service will be held Monday, March 16, 2020, at 12pm, Williams and Bluitt Funeral Home, 5252 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indianapolis 46218, calling from 10am until time of service. Interment New Crown Cemetery.
