Danny Odell DeBurger

56, of Beech Grove, Indiana, passed away Saturday August 19, 2017

Devoted son, beloved brother and cherished friend, Danny Odell DeBurger has left this life far too soon and leaves behind his mother, Glenda C. DeBurger, sister, Robin L. (Mark) Webb and brother, Michael S. (Darolina) DeBurger. All the extended members of this loving family also greatly mourn his passing.

Danny was a proud graduate of Arsenal Technical High School (class of 1979) and successful alumni of Purdue University School of Engineering. His skills as design/process engineer and draftsman have been prized by many high-profile organizations including Pratt & Whitney, Navastar(International), Catapiller, Rolls-Royce to name a few. Danny was particularly proud of those contributions he has made in the field of Aerospace - particularly as they pertain to the defense of this country.

Danny was a true patriot, always prepared to do his part for God, Family and Country. His thirst for knowledge was never quenched and he was always eager to pass along his wisdom to those fortunate enough to engage him in any number of fascinating conversations.

Danny was blessed with an adventurer's spirit and experienced many salient moments through his involvement in Open Water Scuba Diving, Sailing, Cave Exploration, Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Hiking and travel in general. He was a connoisseur of the arts (with a knack for photography,) a voracious reader and aficionado of the cinematic arts.

His sense of humor and larger-than-life persona will be sorely missed. His family invite all who knew Danny to join us in memorial services being held as follows:

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 24, 4-7 pm and Friday, August 25, from 10-11 am in Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Rd. Funeral services will be Friday, August 25, at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.familyfuneralcareindy.com
